FBOLinx-Navigating the Analytics Tab

Navigating the Analytics Tab, Rev 05.02.2024

  1. When logged in, you will be directed to the dashboard. Click on the “Analytics” tab.
    1. Note: The analytics tab is a valuable feature included in your FBOLinx subscription. The data you see here is generated from the over 350 flight departments in the FuelerLinx network. Data in the analytics section is automatically populated into your FBOLinx account.

  1. When you click on the Analytics section, you’ll be redirected to the Analytics dashboard.
  2. The first information you’ll see is four boxes containing statistics about the FuelerLinx network in relation to your FBO. See Screenshot B.
    1. The first box, “Active Flight Departments,” is the number of flight departments using FuelerLinx for all their fuel purchasing and tankering needs.
    2. The second box, “Active Aircraft,” is the number of aircraft within both the FuelerLinx network and your own personal network.
    3. The third box, “Your Direct FBOLinx Orders,” highlights the number of direct orders received through your FBOLinx pricing portal in the past 12 months.
    4. The fourth box, “FuelerLinx Fuel Orders @ Your ICAO,” highlights the number of fuel orders generated at your airport through FuelerLinx (both contract and direct).
  1. Below these four boxes, is the first widget: “Activity Reports.” See Screenshot C. There are five reports available in this section.
    1. The first report is “Customer Statistics.”

      1. The Customer Statistics report enables you to see a variety of important information about FuelerLinx flight departments including number of fuel dispatches at your FBO, number of dispatches at your airport, the last time the operator quoted pricing at your ICAO, and much more.
      2. All this information can be broken down into any date range and exported into Excel using the blue “Export” button in the bottom right corner.
    1. The next report is “Arrivals & Departures.”
      1. This is a list—sourced from the ADS-B antenna included in your FBOLinx subscription—of all the aircraft that have taken off and landed at your airport. All this information can be broken down into any date range and exported into Excel using the blue “Export” button in the bottom right corner.
      2. This section shows you detailed information about aircraft that have visited your airfield including: tail number, FAA registered owner, aircraft type, and percentage of visits to your FBO.
      3. The Visit to {Your FBO} toggle allows you to manually override the ADS-B data and mark that an aircraft came to your FBO.
      4. Finally, if you click the “Select Airport” dropdown in the top left corner, you’ll be able to see an Arrivals/Departures table for nearby airports.
    1. The third report is “FBO Network Arrivals and Departures.”

      1. NOTE: This report is only available to FBO chain locations with two or more FBO’s signed up for FBOLinx
      2. The network report combines ADS-B data from all of the airports in your FBOLinx group. This allows you to see what aircraft are flying into multiple locations that have one of your FBO’s on the field. All this information can be broken down into any date range and exported into Excel using the blue “Export” button in the bottom right corner.
      3. The goal with this report is to leverage this data to provide network-wide pricing to operators that may come to your FBO at one airport, but go to a competitor at another.
    1. The fourth report is “Lost to Competition.”

      1. This report shows you flight departments that have dispatched fuel at your airport, but at one of your competitors
      2. This is a great list to use when prospecting for additional business opportunities.
    1. The final report is “FuelerLinx Customer Capture Rate.”

      1. This report—which is meant to be exported—shows you the amount of a specific customers business that you’ve captured over a selected date range.
  1. The widget below “Activity Reports” is Fuel Vendor Sources.”

    1. These are the fuel vendors that generate your leads through the FuelerLinx marketplace.
    2. You’ll notice that we include “Directs” as a category. These are direct orders that are generated through your FBOLinx portal
  1. The next widget is “Market Share.”

    1. We redact the names of competitor FBOs for confidentiality purposes.
  1. The fourth table “Quotes & Orders Won is a visual comparison of the number of quotes requested from your FBO versus the number of direct fuel dispatches at your FBO.

  1. The next widget is titled “Your Monthly Fuel Orders.” This is a bar graph of the number of direct dispatcheson a monthly basis–from the FuelerLinx marketplace.

    1. As the age of your FBOLinx account increases, we like to see your monthly fuel orders increase. This is indicative of FBOLinx working for your FBO!
  1. The next table you’ll see is “Your Top Customers.”
    1. This is a visual graphic of your customers from the lens of the FuelerLinx network.

  1. The final table you’ll see is “Fuel Transaction Count at Nearby Airports.”
    1. This highlights how many dispatches, through the FuelerLinx lens, have been generated at airports nearby your airfield. The purpose of this graphic is to highlight the fact that you can compete with FBOs even if they’re not on your airfield!
    2. Via the slider on the top of this table you can increase/decrease the radius of nearby airports.
