FBOLinx-Navigating the Flight Watch Tab
Navigating the Flight Watch Tab, Rev 12.21.2022
- When you log into FBOLinx you will be directed to the dashboard. Click on “Flight Watch.” See Screenshot A.
- Once you are in the “Flight Watch” tab, you will see a page similar to the one found in Screenshot B.
- The left-hand side of the Flight Watch page is a map of live aircraft at your airport. The right-hand side of the screen shows an arrivals/departures table for your airport.
- NOTE: Click the chevron on the left side of the Arrivals/Departures board to collapse it.
- NOTE: This data is only for planes arriving and departing from your airport. It is not data of every single tail within range of your ADS-B antenna.
- If you want to see aircraft data from a surrounding airport, click the Select Airport dropdown circled in Screenshot C.
- You will see four different colored plane icons. See Screenshot D.
- Blue represents a tail that is a FuelerLinx client.
- Green represents a tail that is going to dispatch fuel at your FBO.
- Grey represents a tail that isn’t in the FuelerLinx network.
- Orange represents a tail that isn’t in the FuelerLinx network, but someone at your FBO (or in your FBO’s group for group locations) has added that tail to your specific FBOLinx network.
- You can click on the icon of a specific plane, which will bring up a pop-up similar to the one found in Screenshot E.
- NOTE: You can click an icon for both FuelerLinx and non-FuelerLinx clients. All tails will be unblocked since you own the ADS-B antenna at your FBO, meaning that the aircraft data is proprietary to you and isn’t subject to FAA blocking.
- By clicking on an aircraft's icon, you can also see information such as the aircraft’s origin, its destination, and the Flight Department.
- The Flight Watch map also has some useful shortcuts, all of which are labeled in Screenshot F.
- The “Search Aircraft” bar allows you to search for a specific tail on the Flight Watch map.
- The ± and vertical arrows allow you to zoom in, zoom out, and adjust the angle that you view the Flight Watch map with.
- NOTE: You can also zoom in and out of the map with your mouse.
- The bullseye logo centers the map on the specific airport you’ve chosen to view aircraft data for.
- You also have the ability to view aircraft data in the Arrivals and Departures board.
- To access this, click the chevron circled in Screenshot G.
- Clicking on the chevron next to a specific row will give you information on that specific tail such as visits to your FBO in the past 30 days, arrivals at your airport in the past 30 days, and much more!
- See Screenshot H.
- NOTE: The layout of this table can be adjusted using the three dots in the top right corner of the Arrivals/Departures table circled in Screenshot I.
